An exhibition of images, narratives, poems and crafted objects inspired by nineteen black and white photographs of Windrush arrivals, following workshops with young and older people in the community.
The pictures were found in a local hairdressers in Brixton and were scheduled to be sold off individually and the collection was to be broken up.
The pictures capture arrivals to Britain from the Empire Windrush ship of 1948 and are an important part of Black British and Caribbean history.
