Battersea Park is a beautiful 200-acre Victorian park, built between 1854 and 1870.
It has a riverside promenade, a large lake, many notable trees and ecological areas.
Come and talk a walk with us around the lake and end at the Pear Tree Cafe.
The park is wheelchair friendly and suitable for people with mobility problems. Please note the hosts won’t be able to assist people with mobility problems due to health and safety reasons. If you need assistance, please bring someone with you.
This will be approximately an hour-long walk with a cafe stop at the end. If you struggle to walk this distance then this event isn’t suitable for you.
The event is FREE. You might want to bring some money for a drink at the Cafe!
Nearest train stations are Queenstown Road Train Station or Battersea Park Train Station. Both are approximately a 10-minute walk to Rosary Gate entrance.
Nearest tube stations are Sloan Square, Victoria or Pimlico.
Nearest buses to the Rosary Gate are the 44, 137 and the 452
